Domestic cleaning tips

The finger nails are excellent tools for cleaning. They help to remove stubborn stains and the like off the window.

Newspapers are best for cleaning windows. Squeeze them up and use them to buff the glass up after spraying. Products with ammonia can be hard on the eyes and nose, but the diluted vinegar works well. Change sheets of newspaper as soon as they look damp or they will disintegrate.

Keep old toothbrushes. They are perfect of getting into lots of small nooks and crannies, which are covered with dirt.

Use a transistor radio or something alike to listen to something while you work. DOMESTIC CLEANING can be done on autopilot. Using an iPod or other music player with headphones is possible, but the strings can get into the way as you work.

A feather duster is best for cleaning a computer because they use static electricity to pick up dust and dirt from keyboards and LCD screens. Chicken feathers are very good, but the ostrich feathers are better, if you can get. Give a good shake down outside on a windy day to get rid of dust from them.

If you have to scrub a floor on your hands and knees, get hold of one of those kneeling mats sold in garden shops. Don't use a cushion as it will get soaked and grubby.

Work in an organized manner when using a vacuum cleaner. As you will need to go back and forth over a section of carpet, it is preferable to divide the floor into sections and work section by section. This means you are less likely to miss any of the floors. These were the tips for doing DOMESTIC CLEANING yourself.
